Sarah had been longing to work in the finance industry since she was young ― with big dreams of taking the train into the city every day, from her hometown in Morristown, NJ, as a stay-at-home husband lovingly awaited her arrival each evening. It was either that or become a chef. While both of those paths sounded lovely, Sarah paved her way towards the former, minus the now-dreaded commute and stay-at-home husband. (Although if you ask him now, he’s ready to assume that role whenever she gives him the greenlight!)
Sarah pursued her passion, studying finance at Salisbury University, and shortly after graduating, met John Egan while working a summer job. Sarah joined Egan Wealth Advisors as an intern and worked directly with John for two and a half years, gaining invaluable experience learning all about what “well-th and well-being” truly means: understanding and helping people in a holistic and impactful way. It was Sarah’s natural curiosity and desire to help others that led her to grow into a wealth advisor role.
Sarah explored living in other cities during the pandemic, taking a job with Raymond James in Lexington, KY and another job with a wealth advisory firm for almost three years in Annapolis, MD, before returning back to her roots in New Jersey in July 2023 to reunite with family and the Egan Wealth Advisors team.
